Ref: Azzalure (Botulinum Toxin) – Notification of changes to the size of the vial
Galderma UK has made marginal changes to the Azzalure vial which include:
- A harder stopper to match the latest industry standards
- A stronger vial vacuum by using a slightly smaller vial size, however the volume of product remains the same.
The neck of the new vial is too small in diameter to enable the 0.5ml & 0.3ml BD syringe to be removed from the vial once the solution has been drawn up due to the cuff on the syringe.
We at John Bannon Pharma would like to assure you that Galderma UK has confirmed that there is no change to the product properties or qualities.
The changes are subtle and may not be noticed.
Please be assured that Azzalure remains the same product, where no other updates have been made.
The new vials are now in stock and you will receive these in your orders.
Please note it is of utmost importance that you follow the advice of your Medical Advisor and / or trainer.
Alternative syringes that can be used are:
- FMS Micro syringe 0.3ml or 0.5ml, 32g
- BD 1ml insulin syringes pass easily into the vials as they do not have any collar, however the graduations on these syringes may not be suitable for certain doses.
The quality and safety of our products continue to be of utmost importance to both John Bannon Pharma & Galderma.
If you have any specific quality or safety concerns or issues with any of our products, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
